Agent Group Elects New Leadership

NU Online News Service, Dec. 19, 11:12 a.m. EST?Two insurance carrier executives, responsible for independent agent growth within their companies, were elected to the top posts of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents Company Council of Executive Officers.

The Alexandria, Va.-based association announced that Scott Kuczmarski, vice president of independent agent sales and marketing for MetLife Auto and Home based in New York City, was elected chairman of the PIA-CCEO.

Lisa Murman, director of marketplace planning and development for Main Street America Group, with headquarters in Keene, N.H., and Jacksonville, Fla., was elected vice chairman.

The association said that PIA-CCEO is composed of senior insurance company executives who work at identifying areas of opportunity in the agency--company partnership, facilitating discussions between company executives and PIA leaders, and conducting research aimed at finding profitable opportunities for both.
