Terror Backstop Bill Signing Date Set
NU Online News Service, Nov. 25, 1:15 p.m. EST, Washington?President Bush will sign the terrorism insurance bill into law tomorrow morning, Presidential Spokesman Ari Fleischer told a weekend press briefing.
The ceremony will take place at the White House, with a variety of insurance industry supporters of the legislation expected to attend. Under the legislation, the federal government would pay up to 90 percent of insured losses caused by acts of terrorism. Steven Brostoff
