CICA Adds E-Message Board Service
NU Online News Service, Nov. 22, 3:11 p.m. EST?The Captive Insurance Companies Association announced today it has added an Internet message board dedicated to the alternative insurance industry, titled CICA WORLD.
The goal of CICA WORLD, the association said, is to further expand the global reach and networking opportunities of the captive, risk retention and alternative insurance communities.
Those wishing to use the message board do not need to register or login, and "everyone within the industry is encouraged to participate" for "perspective and input on industry issues," the association said.
CICA WORLD is free, and users can post questions and answers, and review on-going discussions, according to CICA. Current topics being discussed include finding a market for excess workers' compensation programs and the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act.
