Hub Opens Environmental Unit
NU Online News Service, Oct. 30, 11:28 a.m. EST?Hub International, Ltd. has announced that its New York City-headquartered wholesale unit, Program Brokerage Corporation, has formed PBC Environmental.
The Canadian insurance broker, with American headquarters in Chicago, said this specialized facility would offer "in house" environmental risk management solutions for PBC's producer network of over 1,000 agents.
For middle-market producers, PBC would act as their "environmental department" to evaluate their client's environmental risk exposure and design an insurance program in response.
The new facility is targeted to middle-market real estate, manufacturing and contracting businesses, financial institutions, environmental engineers and consultants, Hub said.
The unit is to be headed by John Butler, PBC vice president and environmental practice leader.
