Meadowbrook Reverts To Kirkway

NU Online News Service, Sept. 3, 1:25 p.m. EST?Meadowbrook international limited announced it has assumed its previous name of Kirkway international limited, effective immediately.

The name change is in recognition of "our successful and amicable management buy-out from the Meadowbrook Insurance Group," the Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said.

Michael Woodroffe, president of Kirkway, formed the organization in 1982, the company explained. Kirkway was purchased by Meadowbrook Insurance Group and was recently bought back by Mr. Woodroffe.

Kirkway international limited specializes in placing reinsurance for captives, risk retention groups, pools and programs.
