Kaye Acquires C.S. Nenner In N.J.

NU Online News Service, Sept. 10, 2:57 p.m. EST?Kaye Insurance Associates, the New York-based retail brokerage, has acquired the C.S. Nenner Inc. agency based in Bordentown, N.J.

The announcement was made by Kaye's parent, Chicago-based insurance broker Hub International, Ltd. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Nenner, a specialist in transportation and warehousing coverage for the trucking business, has 15 employees and reported revenues of $3 million in 2001. Founded in 1992, the agency has been managed by three principals, Howard Nenner, chairman, Richard Minerva, president, and Gregory Kroeger, secretary and treasurer.

All three will remain with the agency in Bordentown, the firm said, and would be named first vice presidents at KIA. The agency is to operate as a division of KIA.
