InsuranceNoodle Announces 2,500th Partner
NU Online News Service, Sept. 17, 3:47 p.m. EST?InsuranceNoodle, the Web-based brokerage, said it has signed its 2,500th agency partner to quote and bind small commercial insurance business online.
After two years in operation, the Chicago-based firm continues to add agencies, said Don Urbanciz, InsuranceNoodle's chief executive officer. The firm is seeing more than 200 agencies join each month and an average of 100 requests for quotes every day, he said.
The broker writes small commercial business insurance with leading national carriers through a single-entry, multi-carrier application.
The Web agency's Internet-based distribution model provides online access to such carriers as AIG, Chubb, CNA Surety, The Hartford, Kemper, The St. Paul, and Zurich U.S.
InsuranceNoodle said its current line of commercial insurance products covers more than 1,000 small business types and includes business owners policies, commercial auto, umbrella insurance, workers' compensation, employment practices liability insurance, professional liability, and surety bonds.
The firm said it's Web-based technology screens risks, collects all underwriting information required by carriers, and allows agencies to view proposals and bind quotes online within a few business days.
