Brown & Brown Acquires Two Agencies
NU Online News Service, Sept. 9, 12:06 p.m. EST?Daytona Beach, Fla. -based insurance broker Brown & Brown Inc. has acquired two more agencies.
The firm said the new acquisitions are the John Manner Insurance Agency of Joliet, Ill., and Dunn-Murphy-White Insurance Agency of Russellville, Ark.
Both acquisitions took affect Sept. 1.
The John Manner Insurance Agency is a full-service property and casualty insurance agency with reported annual revenues of approximately $4.2 million. The agency has served the commercial, employee benefits and personal insurance needs of the residents and businesses of the greater Joliet area, and throughout the state of Illinois, for over 30 years, Brown & Brown said.
Dunn-Murphy-White Insurance Agency is a full service commercial property and casualty insurance agency, serving clients in the River Valley Region of Arkansas, and throughout the state. Brown & Brown said the agency has reported annual revenues of approximately $1.3 million.
Both agencies will remain at their current locations as freestanding Brown & Brown operations, the firm said.
