California Releases Privacy Regulation Draft
NU Online News Service, May 24, 11:11 a.m. EST?The California insurance department has released its draft of a new regulation to address privacy requirements in the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999.
The proposed draft, released last week, reflects comments made at a public hearing held in February to discuss the proposed regulation. For more information on the draft, go to http://www.insurance.ca.gov/docs/FS-Regulations-Search.htm at the California insurance department Web site.
