Arbella Insurance Group signed a five-year, $20 million contract with CGI Group. CGI will supply full document management services to the New England P&C insurance carrier so that Arbella will realize cost savings, improve client services, and gain access to enhanced technology.

After digging out of seven feet of snow, Olean, N.Y.-based Iroquois Group signed a deal with BrokerSecure (part of the InsureZone family of Secure companies). BrokerSecure will deliver a private-label Web platform for Iroquoiss 1,225 member-agents to obtain quotes and bind policies for small commercial insurance. BrokerSecure will also create a full-spectrum, Iroquois-branded service center for post-sales fulfillment and support.

The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) has agreed to promote Vitrias products to its 43 member plans. The five-year agreement concerns Vitrias BusinessWare, which allows companies to integrate information systems both within and outside of the enterprise.
COPIC Insurance Company has gone live with DTIs Oasis product line, including Oasis Policy Management, Claims Management, Financial Management and Risk Management components.

AAA Life Insurance completed implementation of Verian Technologies ProcureIT. The carrier is replacing a paper-based system with the ProcureIT software. It is currently being used by 37 departments.

Unitrin Property and Casualty Group signed a three-year partnership agreement with ProcessClaims. The new agreement (its a renewal), covers ProcessClaimss Web-based claims management solution.

Grange Insurance Group selected Applied Systems Diamond System PC-based policy processing solution to facilitate real-time policy rating, underwriting, issuance and billing functions.

IBM, State Auto Insurance and Mutual of Enumclaw have all selected Fair, Isaac and Companys Decision System to deploy, manage and improve their unique customer relationship strategies.

Nevada General Insurance Company has chosen Applied Systems Diamond System to facilitate the [carriers] real-time policy rating, underwriting, issuance and billing functions.

PMA Re tapped Sengen to redesign its Web site. According to the carrier, Sengen reviewed the site to identify usability challenges (which used to be called problems) before beginning work.

Indiana Construction Industry Trust (ICIT) has licensed Genelco Software Solutions Health Benefit Management System and GroupWeb to process claims and administer coverage to its customers.

SafeCo Insurance selected and implemented Bisyss appointpak.com insurance licensing solution to process agents appointments, terminations, and certification letter requests.

Things are hopping for Prelude Software, which licensed its PayPilot software to several carriers, including Louisiana Farm Bureau and Southern Farm Bureau (for processing and printing checks) and the Pennsylvania Medical Society Liability Insurance Company (for check processing and security).
