?Trusted Choice' Airs In Two States
By Mark Ruquet
NU Online News Service, March 5, 12:34 p.m. EST?The Independent Insurance Agents of America branding initiative has gone into broadcast mode with the airing of "Trusted Choice" television ads in Seattle and Louisville, Ky.
Three ads, which aired Feb. 25, are aimed at educating the public to the benefits of working with independent insurance agencies.
The message being delivered is that agencies offer a choice of insurance companies and policies, superior customer service and advocacy.
IAA said the two markets were chosen for the site of the pilot ad program because their demographics closely resemble the national population.
The 30-second spots, each focusing on the advantages to using a "Trusted Choice" agent for a consumer's personal or commercial insurance, will be evaluated for its effectiveness, said IIAA.
Plans call for the airing of the advertising spots during top rated shows, the association said. The pilot program is budgeted at more than $400,000. The commercials are expected to air nationally in early 2003.
The "Trusted Choice" marketing campaign was launched after extensive research on consumer preferences, the Alexandria, Va.-based association said.
More information on the program is available at www.TrustedChoice.com.
