eAutoclaims Signs With Vision Group

NU Online News Service, Feb. 20, 12:38 p.m. EST?eAutoclaims announced that it has entered an annual agreement with privately owned Vision Insurance Group to provide online claims management solutions.

Based in Brentwood, Tenn., Vision Insurance Group services six states throughout the Midwest and Southern U.S., and reported nearly $85 million in premium revenue for 2001, the companies said.

Palm Harbor, Fla.-based eAutoclaims, which provides the insurance industry with claims management services through both ASP and integrated outsourcing solutions, said it expects to manage some 500 claims a month through the contract.

Under the agreement, eAutoclaims will use its recently announced eJusterSuite, an online claims management platform, to process claims for Vision, while tapping into eAutoclaims' national network of more than 3,200 body shops, 1,700 independent adjusters and service providers.

The eAutoclaims network providers include towing companies, rental agencies, accident scene investigators, and subrogation and salvage services.

eAutoclaims said its clients are insurance companies, fleet management companies and insurance services companies. The company said its products streamline the claims handling process, decreasing the overall time and cost required to process a collision claim, and reducing average paid losses for its clients.
