Correction On Aon Report

The "Hot News" recap on page 8 of the Feb. 18 edition of "National Underwriter," as well as a Feb. 13 "NU Online News Service" story on the results of Chicago-based broker Aon incorrectly reported that Aon sustained a "loss" for its 2001 fourth quarter, when in fact Aon merely reported an 8 percent decline in net income for the quarter. The Feb. 18 edition blurb also should have made clear that Aon expects positive results in 2002 from the business transformation program it launched last year.
