Selective Web Site Alteration
NU Online News Service, Jan. 4, 11:44 a.m. EST?Selective Insurance Group Inc. of Branchville, N.J., said it has revamped and redesigned its Web site, http://www.selective.com, to better reflect its business focus and to be more user-friendly.

The company said some features on the site include an agent locator, referring customers to an agent in their community, on-line claim filing and bill-paying capabilities, agency software and product updates, and agent extranet log-in.
Also available is company information including ratings and financial results, and links to Selective's subsidiaries.
The company said the site has informational "homes" for investors and the media. Investors can access Selective's annual report, an investor information packet, historical financial news and links to other financial information sites. The Web site "newsroom" contains management biographies and photos, quick facts, insurance resources, feature stories, downloadable company pictures, corporate press releases and a listing of company contacts.
