PLUS Sets February Confab In New York

NU Online News Service, Jan. 9, 12:37 p.m. EST?The Professional Liability Underwriting Society of Minneapolis announced yesterday that this year's D&O Liability & Insurance Issues Symposium is set for Feb. 6-7, 2002 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.

This year, PLUS will beam two sessions of the symposium?"Evolution of the Derivative Lawsuit" and "The Evolving World of Securities Litigation"?via satellite to five cities. The cities are Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

PLUS describes the Symposium as "an intermediate to advanced program," aimed at giving insurance professionals and attorneys insight into the most recent developments in D&O liability.

In addition to the two that will be broadcast Feb. 6, other Symposium sessions include:

? Escalating Reinsurance Losses: Are They the Death Knell of the Reinsurance Market?

? How a Hardening Market Affects the Relationship Between D&O Brokers and Insurers.

? Emerging Trends in Non-Securities D&O Liability

?? The Future of the D&O Insurance Marketplace From a Senior Management Perspective.
