NU Online News Service, Jan. 25, 12:11 p.m. EST?Chicago-based insurance broker Aon's announcement of fourth quarter losses reported Jan. 16 in NU Online News should have specified that the loss involved was incurred from the company's investment segment.

The firm said it expects an "approximate $70 million" loss "in non-operating corporate and other segment revenue" that is "comprised predominantly of investment income from the company's equity portfolio" and "includes limited partnership investments."

Aon said it plans to release its fourth quarter earning results on Feb. 12 and hold a Web cast conference call at 10 a.m. CST. Both will be available through www.aon.com.
