Joining the ranks of technology companies with chemical names is Bridium (www.bridium.com)-the new name of the company formerly known as Cyber-ASP. If you were using ClaimsXL-its flagship product-you should know you're now running Claims3 (pronounced Claims Cube-that's right, cube, not cubed; go figure).

According to Bridium president and CEO Renga Nathan, the name change apparently "represents the company's evolution from simply an ASP to a comprehensive software developer offering tailored solutions to specific industries."

Bridium CTO Ramesh Natarajan added, "Claims3 was chosen as the new product name because it better reflects the capability of our application to address the entire needs of the property and casualty insurance industry."
