Mitchell International's (www.mitchell.com) Windows-based UltraMate-a collision estimating system-has been upgraded to version 4.7 in order to bring more flexibility to insurance and collision repair pros.

If your field claims people have felt totaled by estimating processes, Mitchell thinks its new version will add some blue book value to their outlook. UltraMate 4.7's new features include cycle time data fields, which allow collision shops to track events involved with repairs; enhanced mail merge, which uses administrative information from the UltraMate database to generate more personalized form letters; and OEM parts notes, which display new part details on printed estimates and footnote remanufactured and discontinued parts.
Version 4.7-as with previous releases-allows open transfer of information between UltraMate and body shop management systems.
