Insurance Data Processing (IDP, at www.idpnet.com) has upgraded its Vision 21 product to version 21.25.
IDP is providing basic upgrades-automatic renewal, search capability, resized screens, new class libraries-free to existing Vision series users Also available are separately-priced upgrade functions, including online declaration page access for reviewing policies before issuance, and save-as-you-go ratings, which allows users to save partially completed transactions.
The Vision 21.25 product quotes, rates, issues, and bills policies, and manages claims and tracks financial resources.
IDP's technicians and programming staff will handle installation; IDP also provides on-site training for users and managers.
IDP's assistant vice president R&D Mike Vacarrello said: "The [training] process starts with a requirements study where we gather all of the information necessary to ensure we understand the client's needs and workflow. From that, detailed specifications are developed by IDP and approved by the client."
IDP offers three days of on-site training and implementation with an installation. According to Vacarrello, IDP will fully configure and test a client's server prior to on-site installation.
