This underscores the importance of implementing effective workers' compensation risk management programs.

Recognizing the critical role of these programs and the dedicated professionals who manage them, PropertyCasualty360.com, the Workers' Compensation Institute (WCI), Sedgwick and Safety National are pleased to start accepting nominations for the 2024 Workers' Comp Risk Management Award for Excellence. The awards program's goal is to spotlight stories about ingenuity, collaboration and humanity in the workers' compensation insurance and risk management sectors.

The nomination period will end April 15.

Winners will be recognized at WCI's 78th Annual Workers' Compensation Educational Conference and 35nd Safety & Health Conference, taking place Aug. 18-21, 2024, in Florida.

To be eligible for the Workers' Comp Risk Management Award for Excellence, nominees must be a risk manager or someone who works in a risk management department of a U.S. company or organization and responsible at least in part for the firm's workers' comp program.

Carriers and brokers, while not directly eligible for the award, should encourage clients/policyholders to apply. Prior recipients of this award are not eligible.
