Allianz Group's specialist corporate insurer Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has acquired the renewal portfolio of Liberty Mutual Insurance's United States Product Recall and Special Contingency business, written through Liberty International Underwriters U.S. AGCS began offering product recall insurance in North America in 2016.

The Hartford has enhanced ICON, its online quoting system for agents and brokers, to offer easier access and more comprehensive protection for small businesses. Agents and brokers will now have access to quote employee benefits as well as excess and surplus (E&S) coverage for their small business customers.

AmWINS Group Inc. has completed the previously announced acquisition of Seacoast Brokers LLC and Trident Claims Management LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
