P.F. Chang and AT&T joined Target Corp. and Neiman Marcus Group Ltd. in being hit by hackers in attacks that compromised social security numbers, call records and credit card information. 

But it's not just big chains that are victims of data breach: According to a 2012 study by the National Cyber Security Alliance, 60% of small businesses close their doors within six months of a data breach, which can cost a business money, but also reputation. 

State Auto Insurance Cos. created an infographic that details the threats small businesses faces when confronted by data breach.
