Confie Seguros, a national provider of insurance with an emphasis on serving Hispanic consumers, has acquired the Florida operations of insurance brokerage Trustway Insurance Agencies. Terms were not disclosed
Based in Miami, Trustway provides personal insurance lines, including auto, homeowners, and business insurance through 28 retail locations throughout the state.
Jeff Greene, an insurance executive with over 25 years of experience in the Florida market with standard and non-standard companies, will serve as general manager.
Founded in 2008 and based in New York, Confie Seguros is a portfolio company of Genstar Capital, a private equity firm that focuses on investments in selected segments of the life sciences, health care, financial services, software, and industrial technology industries. Confie Seguros currently has annual revenue in excess of $160 million with over 275 retail locations. It operates in California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Washington, Oregon, New York, New Jersey, and Nevada. The company says it has plans to expand into Illinois, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
