Rhoads Online announces PCRM, its Web-based compliance management system for insurance carriers and agencies/brokers, is offering insurance licensing renewal alerts via Facebook and all mobile phone service providers.
“Insurance agents and their managers operate in an online, on-the-go world. To help make dealing with the complexities of professional compliance easier, more certain, and less costly, we've added notification services that fit in with their work- and lifestyles,” says Steven Milton, Rhoads Online's senior vice president of sales. “By leveraging the reach and convenience of Facebook and mobile communications, PCRM 'works the way you work, where you work.'”
Facebook and mobile phones are logical extensions of PCRM's email-based alert function. Today thousands of producers use social media to build relationships and sell policies. A recent survey among agents 40 years-old and younger found 71 percent use Facebook.
Producers simply need to let their managers or licensing team “friend” them so renewal alerts can be posted to their Facebook accounts. Similarly, by supplying their mobile phone numbers, the notifications can be sent as text messages. Email alerts issued by the PCRM system continue as a way to keep producers aware of the status of their licenses.
The new notification services are available now on PCRM Carrier and PCRM Broker versions of the system.
