Daytona Beach, Fla.-based insurance broker Brown & Brown Inc. said it has named Elizabeth "Liz" White president of Peachtree Special Risk Brokers L.L.C.

Ms. White joined the firm when Peachtree was founded in 1999. She has been promoted through several positions within the company's wholesale brokerage division since that time.
