A man was arrested and charged with one count of insurance fraud and two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses, all felony offenses. The man filed a claim with his insurer for damage to his 2019 Honda Accord. The problem is that the man had already collected benefits for the same damages in 2023. He also fraudulently obtained bank information to make a premium payment to the insurer for $1,950.
