A man has been charged with two counts of common law forgery and two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses, all four charges being felonies. Another misdemeanor charge was for making a false statement on an insurance application.

The man used a forged drivers license to add a person to his auto policy, and then twice tried to sell an insurance policy to the newly added person. On a separate occasion, he tried to get money from another person by claiming to add that person to his auto policy as well.
