Following the passage of Senate Bill 452, North Carolina is raising its minimum auto liability coverage requirements, effective later this year.
The previous minimum requirements for insurers in North Carolina was 30/60/25, meaning that a policy must provide at least $30,000 for bodily injury or death to each person, $60,000 for all bodily injury or death, and $25,000 for property damage for each accident.
