A woman was arrested and charged with two counts of insurance fraud, one count of identity theft and one count of obtaining property by false pretenses. All charges are felonies. The woman used the name of her deceased mother to obtain a homeowners policy from an insurer. She then filed a claim for prexisting damage to the home for $49,000.
