In this type of HO6 loss assessment coverage, is the "event" that it says coverage applies to A) the occurrence of the hoa levying the assessment, or B) the original precipitating covered loss it says must have caused the assessment? Another way to phrase the question, would the "date of loss" on the HO6 claim be the day the ho6 holder was assessed or the day the original event that caused the damage occurred?

The loss assessment must be due to a covered loss that occurred during the policy period. The date of the loss assessment claim should be the date of the assessment, which will be sometime after the date of loss. If the loss occurs in July, but the assessment isn't levied until December, then December would be the date of the loss assessment claim.
