An Idaho woman bought insurance coverage on two vehicles in December 2017. Ten days later she reported a loss to one of the vehicles from a collision with a deer. Upon investigation due to inconsistency in her story, she confessed that the vehicle was damaged before the policy was purchased. She plead guilty and was placed on three years supervised probation, and ordered to pay restitution to the insurance department of $1,285, $1,335 to Esurance, and a fine of $1,000 and court costs.
