A pastor and his wife have been charged with attempted arson for trying to burn down a church and claiming the insurance money. The fire occurred in January of 2019 and the building that was burned down housed the Longview Institute and Emmanuel Fellowship Church, where the arsonist served as the pastor. The suspects are charged with first-degree insurance fraud, second-degree arson, and criminal conspiracy.
