Berkley Re Direct has changed its name to Berkley Re Solutions.
On the evolution of the operating unit's name, Gregory Douglas, the company's president, commented, “Direct is how we traditionally approached the market, but Solutions is clearly more reflective of the overall value we deliver to our partners each day. It speaks to the continual innovation and collaboration that is at the core of our value proposition. Our success has been clearly about what we do, not how we take our solutions to market.
“Our commitment to our current business mix and partners remains consistent and steadfast. This rebranding is part of an ongoing journey that has allowed us to bring about an exciting change in the turnkey reinsurance marketplace which has been looking for a partner focused on the things that really matter,” continued Mr. Douglas.
“Over six years ago, we set out to reinvent ourselves. We realized that our existing turnkey solutions provided clear differentiation and unique value. Today, we have added many new products including commercial, personal lines and farmowners cyber in our turnkey portfolio. We've been changing the game by helping our customers expand their capabilities and be more relevant to their agents and policyholders,” Mr. Douglas added.
The new name is effective immediately.
