The alternative markets division of Great American Insurance Group has entered into an agreement with JM Associates / Burnham + Company, a division of HUB International Northeast, to be the insurance carrier for The National Elevator Insurance Program.
Great American said in a statement that the program offers specialized insurance coverage to elevator contractors, inspectors, consultants, distributors, and manufacturers. This new offering is through Great American's elite programs model and is administered by the Hub International office located in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
“The National Elevator Program is the premiere insurance solution for elevator contractors nationwide, and we are honored to be the insurance carrier for this well-established, profitable franchise,” stated Richard Suter, divisional senior vice president for alternative markets at Great American. “We also feel privileged to be able to work with Hub, the recognized subject matter expert in this industry.”
Hub International Northeast has been creating comprehensive insurance and risk management products for the elevator industry for more than 40 years. Most of their employees have more than 20 years of experience in arranging insurance for customers involved in various aspects of the elevator industry.
