Tressler LLP has added Andrew G. Witik as a partner in its insurance practice in Chicago. Mr. Witik joined the firm from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP.
Mr. Witik has more than 25 years of experience representing insurance companies, corporations, municipalities, and individuals in declaratory judgment actions, contractual disputes, bad faith claims, and appeals in both federal and state courts throughout the United States. He has an emphasis on construction defect litigation, representing contractors in construction disputes.
Mr. Witik also has experience with a variety of coverages including general liability, professional liability, commercial auto, property, businessowner's, and homeowner's policies.
Mr. Witik earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, the Federal Trial Bar of the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
