Aspen Insurance has appointed Erik Armellino as the international head of onshore energy and construction.
Mr. Armellino has more than 20 years of experience managing a broad range of energy and construction insurance products. Reporting to Ann Haugh, the president of Aspen International Insurance and the chief operating officer of Aspen Insurance, he will lead the expansion of Aspen International Insurance's onshore energy and construction lines of business.
Mr. Armellino previously was head of underwriting performance and head of property direct and facultative at Advent Underwriting Limited.
Ms. Haugh commented, “This appointment expands further our international insurance product offering and we are delighted that Erik is joining Aspen Insurance at this exciting time for our business.”
