Aspen Insurance has appointed Raheila Nazir as head of international cyber risk.
Ms. Nazir will report to Ann Haugh, the president of Aspen International Insurance and the chief operating officer at Aspen Insurance, and Oliver Brew, the executive vice president of global head of cyber risk and head of international professional indemnity.
Based in London, Ms. Nazir joins Aspen Insurance from AIG Europe Ltd, where she was professional indemnity manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, a role in which she helped drive the cyber strategy with responsibility for product innovation in cyber, technology, and media lines.
Ms. Haugh commented: “I am delighted that someone of Raheila's caliber and experience is joining Aspen Insurance. This appointment bolsters significantly our position in the cyber market in London and internationally.

Aspen also has appointed Nicholas Lang as underwriter for cyber. He joined from Principia Underwriting and has held previous roles at Barbican Insurance and Endurance Worldwide Insurance.
