Pioneer Special Risk (“PSR”) has commenced underwriting environmental liability, led by Jessica Huhn-Kenzik, a vice president at PSR, via its newly established division in Exton, Pennsylvania.

PSR has been approved as a coverholder at Lloyd's for environmental liability with licenses to transact business in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. The team will provide property owners, developers, and contractors with pollution and professional coverage, including site pollution liability.

Gary Dubois, the president of PSR, said, “Jessica and her team bring a tremendous background to this new PSR initiative and add significant value to the organization by virtue of their experience and long standing market relationships. We're very excited to have them on board and open for business.”

Ms. Huhn-Kenzik said, “We are looking forward to actively engaging with our broker partners to find solutions to their clients' risks. This is an ever evolving area of the market, and we're confident that the flexibility and mobility of the PSR platform, combined with technical underwriting expertise, will enable us to bring a leading level of service to insureds.”
