Daniel Franzetti has joined QBE North America as chief claims officer. In this role, Mr. Franzetti will serve on the executive management board and will have responsibility for leadership of QBE North America's claims function.
Working from QBE's New York City office, Mr. Franzetti will report to QBE North America's chief executive officer, Dave Duclos.
In a career that has spanned nearly 20 years, Mr. Franzetti most recently served as chief claims officer for Zurich Australia Insurance Limited. He previously led Zurich's claims technical shared services in North America as a senior vice president. Prior to this role, he was head of global claims vendor management for Zurich's global general insurance practice.

Mr. Franzetti holds a B.A. from Colgate University, an M.B.A. from Rutgers University-Newark, and a J.D. from New York Law School.
