Barbara Bufkin, executive vice president of business development at Hamilton USA, the U.S.-based insurance operations of Hamilton Insurance Group, and Deborah Aldredge, the chief administrative officer for Farmers Insurance, have been recognized for their impact on the advancement of women in the insurance industry.

Ms. Bufkin and Ms. Aldredge have been awarded the Inclusion Champion Award by the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (“IICF”), a non-profit organization established in 1994 to leverage the collective strengths of the insurance industry by providing grants, volunteer service, and leadership to communities throughout the U.S. The IICF's Inclusion Champion Award recognizes insurance leaders who are mentors and sponsors to women in the industry.

Both women were recognized by the IICF for “their community service, commitment to developing talent, and influential roles in advocating, and leading others within their organizations to advocate, for the advancement of women in insurance.”

The Inclusion Champion Award will be presented during the IICF's 2015 Women in Insurance Global Conference, which will take place from June 17-19 in New York City at the Sheraton Hotel in Times Square.
