Markel International has appointed Pushpa Sriwignarajah as senior underwriter in its professional and financial risks division to further develop its emerging risk business.
Ms. Sriwignarajah joined Markel from CNA Insurance Company Ltd, where she was senior underwriter for technology and cyber risks. Prior to this, Ms. Sriwignarajah held the same role in technology insurance specialty at Chubb Insurance Company of Europe.
At Markel, she will be reporting to senior underwriter Scott Bailey and will be helping to drive the division's emerging risk business, including technology, media, and telecommunications professional indemnity as well as cyber.
