The National Insurance Crime Bureau (“NICB”) has elected Nancy Pierce of GEICO to a two year term as chair of the board of governors.

Ms. Pierce, regional property and casualty vice president for GEICO, has served on the board since 2008, most recently as vice chair. She replaces Kenneth Rosen, senior vice president of claims at USAA, who has served as a board member since 2008 and as chair since 2011. He will remain on the board.

Elected to the vice chair position was Michael Convery, vice president and chief claim officer at MetLife Auto & Home Insurance. He has served on the board since 2009.

“We are fortunate to have a wealth of industry talent committed to overseeing our role as the nation's leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to fighting insurance fraud and vehicle theft,” said NICB President and Chief Executive Officer Joe Wehrle. “Under Ken's leadership, we've experienced tremendous growth and impressive results. Nancy and Mike have been vital contributors to our success during that time and we know we will benefit from their leadership going forward.”
