The Russia-based insurance company Transneft has received about 30 claims through the beginning of March claiming damage from the February 15 meteor shower over the Russian city of Chelyabinsk.
The claims, from individuals and companies, seek total damages of several million rubles. The insurer is reviewing the claims.
