Utah Governor Gary Herbert has named Todd Kiser as Commissioner of the Utah Insurance Department. Mr. Kiser currently is finishing his final term as a Utah legislator and working as president of Kiser-Lord Insurance Agency. He plans to sell his ownership in the business prior to beginning his service as commissioner.
Mr. Kiser will replace Commissioner Neal Gooch, who is retiring mid-January 2013.
