GEICO says that it is revving up for 2013 by announcing that it will be hiring more than 4,000 new associates in the upcoming year. The company, which has grown its workforce by nearly 20 percent in the past five years, will be hiring in all GEICO offices – and that includes legal positions.
GEICO says that it is “actively hiring to keep up with the company's vigorous growth.”
“GEICO takes much pride in offering a lot of training and support to associates and promoting from within,” according to Jan Stewart, vice president of human resources. “Rather than just providing jobs to our associates, we help them build rewarding careers.”
GEICO (Government Employees Insurance Company) is a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies and is the third-largest private passenger auto insurance company in the United States.
