Our insured has an HO 00 03 04 91 policy with us. He has submitted a liability claim on this policy. He was riding his bicycle when he made an illegal turn and rode into a vehicle, causing damage to that vehicle. Is the operation and property damage arising out of the use of a regular bicycle covered or excluded under this particular policy?
Massachusetts Subscriber
While a bicycle is a vehicle, it is not a motorized vehicle and therefore is not excluded as such. As long as the insured is legally liable for the damages there is coverage; otherwise $500 of coverage is found under damage to property of others.
