September 2012 Intro Page
Dec Page
The Dec Page for this month celebrates the 1000th edition of the FC&S Bulletins. FC&S editors, past and present, offer their comments on their experiences with FC&S. Whether presented in print or electronically, the FC&S Bulletins have over several decades provided accurate and authoritative information for insurance professionals. FC&S stands out as a comprehensive and objective reference and resource for those in the insurance industry. The past 999 issues have attested to this and the 1000th issue continues the tradition.
Congratulations to the FC&S Bulletins on this milestone with hopes for many, many future editions!
Also in the Dec Page this month is an article pertaining to a concept that many often have difficulty understanding and explaining—coinsurance. To insurance industry customers, coinsurance is a baffling subject, with its purpose unknown and its benefits unappreciated. This article offers a thorough and practical guide to coinsurance. It details what coinsurance is, how it works, and how courts view coinsurance.
