Med Pay Coverage Not Applicable to Property Damage

Our insured was involved in an auto accident and suffered injuries to his head; he was hospitalized. During the accident, the insured's eye glasses were damaged beyond repair. Does the med pay coverage under the personal auto policy apply to pay for the replacement cost of the eye glasses?

Med pay coverage is for bodily injury expenses. Replacing eye glasses is a property damage item. So, the med pay coverage does not apply to the replacement cost of the glasses.
