Mobile Home Unit Could Be Considered Covered Property under CP 00 10
I recently insured a campground and need to know if a mobile home type unit is afforded adequate protection under the commercial property coverage form. By mobile home type unit, I mean a unit that has axles and wheels when first delivered to the site, but once delivered is set onto a concrete pad or foundation and the wheels removed. The unit does still have an identification plate with an ID number present and still has axles attached. Would this fall subject the paragraph p. related to vehicles of property not covered, or for that matter any other exclusionary language under the either the Building and Personal Property Coverage Form or the Causes of Loss-Special Form?

If the mobile home is not licensed for use on public roads or operated away from the described premises, then it would not be considered property not covered as described on the ISO CP 00 10. There is not any exclusionary language under the CP 00 10 or CP 10 30 regarding mobile homes like you have described.
