Mural Not a Sign
My question is in regard to the unendorsed CP 00 10 04 02. Signs are not defined in the form. In your experience, are murals painted directly onto the outside of an exterior wall within the scope of signs? If yes, and the policy is ACV coverage, is the coverage basically the value of the paint or cost of repainting?

It is our opinion that a mural is not the same thing as a sign. The policy differentiates between signs that are attached to the building and signs that are not, leading to the inference that a sign is a separate piece of property and not paint just adhering to the building.
